I received a wonderful education in massage therapy at the prestigious Body Therapy Institute in Silk Hope, NC. Before I even graduated, I knew I wanted to be a part of the education process at BTI. I believe the program is as much about self-discovery as massage therapy. I began two careers almost simultaneously as a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist and as a teaching assistant at BTI.

I love learning as much as teaching so I have continued studying and have completed certification programs that would further my knowledge in bodywork and teaching. I feel structural integration is a blend of bodywork and education.

I am certified in Kinesis Myofascial Integration. KMI is a form of structural integration taught by Tom Myers and was derived from the original form taught by Ida Rolf. I have also earned the designation Board Certified Structural Integrator(CM) by passing the exam for Structural Integrators.

I believe bodywork is about awareness. Bringing an awareness to the physical body, and awakening the inner spirit. It is from this place that we can expand into wholeness.
